Technical ability:
Technically this movie is hard to define. At times the editing is really good and clearly a lot of effort went into it, on the other hand it doesn't seem like too much went into the basic concept of a frag movie: entertainment. Just because you CAN do a flashy effect from a reverse angle doesn't mean you SHOULD if it would be more entertaining and easy to view left as it was. That's a trap a lot of movie makers are getting caught in and this movie is no exception. The reason why sozou is a movie making genius in comparison to everyone else is after his initial efforts he's realised when you should use a great piece of editing to make something average look great and when something great doesn't NEED flashy editing. Anyway back to this movie: one of my biggest complaints is probably that the movie felt way too long and it didn't have the right kind of mood.

Visual content:
I can pick up here basically from what I said in the technical section, the mood of the movie just didn't feel right. Now firstly neo is one of the best players in the world let's not kid around. The guy is a one man army against any team. All the same you might leave this movie wondering just how good he is because it really seems to have too MANY kills in. If you took out say the best 5 minutes of action and made a movie of that with a racy pace to it you'd be left thinking "wow this guy is the new HeatoN". Rather you get like 10 minutes of kills where some are awesome and some are just plain average. Remember: entertainment is the key here.

Audio content:
This was one of the weakest areas of the movie in my opinion. I really didn't like the music selection and to quote lp.mojo: "some of that music was just too happy to be in a cs movie, i felt like i was watching gay porn or something". Now while I don't agree with the specifics since I'm not really the most educated on that topic I can agree with the sentiment, the music just didn't fit the action and I think the movie maker tried to be too ambition making the genre work with a CS movie. When you consider there wasn't too much audio synch I can't see how he thought this music would work.

Overall:
I've heard a lot of people hyping this movie and from the comments you'll see a lot of people like it. Personally I could care less for the movie, it's ok and bearing in mind I don't watch too many German demos it was certainly interesting to watch. It won't be anywhere near my top 10 list though since it just didn't engage me or excite me at any time. Download it if you're interested in the player, not if you're just looking for some entertainment.
